The 2023 Welschriesling trocken opens with a beautifully clear, elegant and fruity bouquet of small apricots, ripe pears and some tropical fruit aromas intermingled with spicy nuances. Round and fresh on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, fruity, playful and finely structured Welschriesling with a fine mix of tannins and ripe, elegant and saline acidity. The finish is long, finely bitter and aromatic. This has some similarities with Sauvignon Blanc in terms of grip and structure and a very different aroma profile.
