Ein strahlendes Hellgelb mit zartem Schimmer – schon beim ersten Blick macht die Spätlese Cuvée Lust auf den ersten Schluck. In der Nase entfalten sich Aromen exotischer Früchte, die an reife Mango, Ananas und einen Hauch von Litschi erinnern. Am Gaumen sorgt die animierende Säure für Frische und Lebendigkeit, begleitet von einem harmonischen Trinkfluss. Die exotischen Fruchtnoten kehren zurück, ergänzt durch feine florale Nuancen, die die Spätlese Cuvée elegant ausklingen lassen.
The 2024 Spätlese Cuvée I is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Blanc and 10% Welschriesling, all picked in Ilmitz with a small proportion of botrytis and was made in stainless steel. The nose is surprisingly floral and completely fresh, with an edge of elderflower and distinct lemon. On the palate, the wine is light and rounded, supple with gentle, lemon-edged sweetness on a juicy, light body that shows plenty of lemon freshness and more of that elderflower character.
