Der 2011 Traminer Trockenbeerenauslese No. 1 „Nouvelle Vague“ von Kracher zeigt sich in kräftigem Goldgelb und duftet intensiv nach Rosenblüten, Honig, kandierten Orangenzesten und reifen gelben Früchten, begleitet von feinen Kräuter- und Gewürznoten. Am Gaumen ist er opulent und hochkonzentriert, mit viel Süße, aber gut balancierender Säure, die Frische und Eleganz bringt. Aromen von Pfirsich, Karamell und mineralischer Salzigkeit münden in einen langen, dichten Abgang. Ein komplexer, vielschichtiger Süßwein mit großem Reifepotenzial.

This is another crackerjack of a wine from Kracher! It’s so pure and essential aromatically, with peach stone, bitter almond, burnt caramel, early grey leaf tea, bergamot, candyfloss and a hint of rose petal beautifully jiving with one another. Rich, deep and so incredibly viscous that the wine finds only quite a narrow frame in the mouth, accentuating the sensation of sheer fruit intensity. There’s fantastic freshness on the finish with the sheer juiciness of the fruit seemingly refreshing the palate in a series of saline-incrusted waves of pure peach. 94. /100 by Colin Hay The Drinks Buisness
