In der Nase enorm komplex und opulent – kandierte Orange, getrocknete Ananas und Dattel begleitet von Vanille und feinem Karamell. Ein Hauch von Zimt und Bergamotte. Am Gaumen ist er konzentriert mit enormer Dichte wobei Süße, Säure und Holz vollständig verschmelzen. Wir finden Aromen von Honig und getrocknetem Ingwer im Abgang.
Kracher TBA No. 6 Nouvelle Vague Grande Cuvée 2001 (Burgenland, Austria; 60% Chardonnay; 40% Welschriesling; 226.9 g/L of residual sugar; 10% alcohol). Candied orange peel, Seville orange marmalade, salted peanut brittle and candied rose petals with dried fruits and brandysnaps! This is quite a cocktail with staggering complexity both aromatically and on the ample, crystalline and yet somehow sinuous palate. There’s that brilliant Kracher-signature combination of startling freshness (a combination of acidity and the natural bitterness from those botrytis burnt sugar elements) and striking salinity.
