Medium greenish yellow, silver reflections. Subtle herbal spice, underlaid with ripe yellow tropical fruit, delicate smoky touch. Medium complexity, delicate peach, fresh acidity, honey nuances in the finish, pineapple in the aftertaste. 90/100 Falstaff/Peter Moser
From Pulkau and aged for 4.5 years in a large stück oak vat, the 2019Grüner Veltliner Single Vineyard shows an intense yellow color with a greenish hue. The nose is spectacularly complex, very elegant and refined yet dense and far from being just fruity. On the palate, this is a seamless, refined and highly elegant Veltliner that's everything but Veltliner. The 2019 is full-bodied, elegant and entirely driven by its terroir. The finish is intense, dense and juicy, refined and saline. This is the greatest Veltliner I have ever tasted from the Weinviertel. (Wine Advocate)
Fantastic maturing nose of candied citrus peel, caramelized pears, toasted nuts, floral honey and mushrooms. The textural complexity of the medium- to full-bodied palate is no less exciting. I love the interplay of delicate candied fruit character and mineral acidity in the long, super-elegant finish. Drink or hold.

From very old vines in the Pulkautal/Weinviertel and aged on the fine lees in a single 1,000-liter Slawonian oak foudre for four years, the 2019 Grüner Veltliner Single Vineyard opens with a deep, clear and elegant, refined and spicy bouquet of ripe yellow fruits. Full-bodied, rich and elegant on the palate, this is a powerful and quite mighty, forceful Veltliner with ripe acidity, fine tannins yet also some bitters and not the energy of the St Georg Veltiner. It's impressive yet less. 14% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in May 2024. - The Wine Advocate, 94/100

A rich and very complex, full-bodied dry white that has a Burgundian textural complexity, but also a very Austrian character. I love the interplay of toasted nut, dry straw and floral honey aromas with the flint and lentil notes. Long, complete finish. Still youthful for five years of age. Drink or hold.

Aged for four years in barriques and 1,000-liter foudres, the 2019 Grüner Veltliner St. Georg is from Muschelkalk and slate soils in Sankt Georgen, Leithaberg. The intensely yellow-colored wine opens with a deep, rich and intense, elegant, tropical but also yeasty bouquet. Full-bodied, rich and powerful on the palate, this is an elegant, refined, seamlessly textured St Georgen with intense and lush tropical fruit but also the nervy and refreshing lemony/chalky character of the site. This is not only the greatest wine from friends Aldo Sohm and Gerhard Krachher but also a highlight in the white wine canon of the Burgenland. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork.

Assembling fully ripe and overripe, late-harvested Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Scheurebe and bottled in March this year after 4.5 years in new barriques, the 2019 K offers a deep, intense and finely spicy, partly yeasty and phenolic bouquet of fully ripe and concentrated autumn fruits initially intermingled with some untamed leathery nuances yet with more air and also tropical fruit aromas such as mangoes, pineapples and melons. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, with a very dense and concentrated texture and seriously savory/mineral and phenolic grip, this is a still-challenging wine with a mouth-filling texture and serious structure. This is an old-fashioned white made in a contemporary way. The wine is aromatic, fresh and elegant yet also powerful and rich. It is well balanced, saline and vital on the finish yet still very young, with citrus fruit bitters. The finish is intense and complex and the aftertaste very long, intense and spicy, with serious grip and structural as well aromatic persistency. To be released at the end of this year. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2024. A big glass and lots of patience are highly recommended.- The Wine Advocate 94/100 Reviewed by: Stephan Reinhardt
The 2022 Pinot Gris Reserve is from vines believed to be around 60 years old. It fermented and matured for 1.5 years in 1,500-liter barrels. A touch of smoke on the nose combines with plum skin and suggests ripeness and generosity, while the palate introduces brightness that guides beautifully captured fruit. Neither oak nor yeast are evident on this harmonious, fresh and elegant package with great contour. By Anne Krebiehl, Vinous
The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Alte Reben is from the Pulkau Valley in the Weinviertel, from four parcels, with the youngest vines 30 years old and the oldest over 55. The wine was half fermented in stainless steel, half in used barriques. It then spent five months on fine lees. Nettle, pepper and tender peach are fragrant on the nose. The palate is beautifully bright, with vivacious freshness and a yellow plum fruitiness, again with a gentle herbal savor. By Anne Krebiehl, Vinous
The 2024 Welschriesling contains a small portion of wine made in 1,000 liter barrels, so a certain creaminess joins yeastiness on the nose. The palate is light, bright and vivid, with a lovely, salty yeastiness from aging on long lees. So far from the sea, this makes you long for an oyster. By Anne Krebiehl, Vinous
