2021 Beerenauslese Cuvee Magnum
The 2021 Rosenmuskateller Beerneauslese is a pale, amber-tinged red. This contains shriveled, dried berries without botrytis as well as botrytised fruit. Candied petals of Damask rose shimmer on the nose, trailing aromatic red fruit like rosehip and pomegranate. The palate is fully sweet and viscous, with a lovely web of tannins and a gorgeous tone of treacle that is brightened by that tart, red aromatic fruit and candied blood orange. The 2021 is layered, superbly aromatic, always with the haunting sensation of rose petals. The 2021 Beerenauslese Zweigelt is once again a feat of winemaking. It is made from 60-70% botrytized fruit, resulting in a brilliantly pink hue.

2023 Auslese Cuvée
The 2023 Auslese Cuvée is a blend of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Welschriesling, with around a third of the fruit affected by botrytis. Smooth notes of ripe yellow plum are tender on the nose, showing a glimpse of clear honey. The palate is vividly sweet, reminiscent of Mirabelle jelly laced with lemon. It has a delicious smattering of white pepper on the finish. The finish is lasting, fresh and bright.

Seit Jahrzehnten produzieren wir im Weingut Kracher den Eiswein, doch es ist kein Geheimnis, dass die Winter im Burgenland immer wärmer werden und die notwendigen Temperaturen für die Lese immer seltener erreicht werden.
Häufig erreicht uns daher die Frage: Wann gibt es den nächsten Eiswein?
Die Antwort ist ungewiss. Unser Qualitätsanspruch bleibt hoch: Kein Eiswein ohne perfekte Bedingungen.
