The amber-colored 1999 Trockenbeerenauslese No 6 Grande Cuvée Nouvelle Vague (Library Release 2024) is deep, refined and very intense on the nevertheless finessed nose that tends almost toward red wine or Colheita in its toasty and darker-toned fruit aromas that are reminiscent of potted cherries and plums as well as iodine, syrup and chestnut honey. Rich and elegant on the palate, with cedarwood and graphite (pencil tip) notes, this is a highly refined and elegant, very saline, vital and salivating TBA with oatmeal notes on the finish.
