Sehr kraftvoller Körper, sehr fruchtig im Geschmack, typische Mineralik der Lage Hochberg am Gaumen, allgemen harmonisch
Tasted from the bottle, the 2015 Blaufränkisch Passion offers a deep, pure, fresh, polished and well-concentrated bouquet of dark cherries and berries intertwined with spicy/toasty notes of nougat, roasted chestnut and warm stones. Full-bodied, lush and very charming on the palate, this is an elegant, juicy, textured and beautifully aromatic red with fine tannins, good freshness and a stimulating finish. Tasted in Illmitz, December 2018.

2015 Reunion Vision
Sehr schöne Struktur mit viel Eleganz, sehr fruchtig un dsaftig im Geschmack, bracuht etwas Zeit im Glas und sollte nicht zu warm getrunken werden, sehr hohe Lagerfähigkeit.
From 40- to 45-year-old vines in the Hochberg and with very small berries, the dark 2015 Blaufränkisch Vision offers very deep, ripe, intense and super concentrated dark fruit on the toasty nose. Fermented in a 1,000-liter oak vat and aged in 100% new small oak barrels for 16 months, this is a full-bodied and rich, very elegant and refreshingly pure red with great vitality, grip and length. There are some hints of a dry Douro red, but in fact, this is a great Blaufränkisch from the (Middle) Burgenland. This is an impressive Blaufränkisch with power, finesse and vitality. The aftertaste is incredibly fresh and pure, full of tension and character. Gosh, this is a great wine, although the 2015 is only slowly starting to open up. This is a giant that I terribly underrated as a barrel sample a year ago. If only this wine would be released three to five years after the harvest like a Rioja Grande Reserva, Austria would have another great Blaufränkisch to adore. Without any doubt, this 2015 will still be a great wine in ten and even in 15 years. Tasted from the bottle in December 2018.

2016 Reunion Passion
Toasty oak on the nose holds notions of roast pumpkin, vanilla and tar. The palate continues with this aromatic, oaky richness and clothes ripe, juicy black cherry fruit in it. There is ripeness and generosity and also freshness. This is smooth, rich and aromatic. (WineEnthusiast)

2016 Reunion Vision Magnum
Notions of ripe black plum and black cherry come with a faint notion of tar on the brooding nose. The palate comes in with absolute concentration and real intent. The tannins, stuctured and fine, have begun to resolve but leave no doubt about the absolute backbone. This is a big, bold and also elegant wine that is just becoming approachable and will continue to evolve. (WineEnthusiast)

(Falstaff)
