Tasted from the bottle, the 2015 Blaufränkisch Passion offers a deep, pure, fresh, polished and well-concentrated bouquet of dark cherries and berries intertwined with spicy/toasty notes of nougat, roasted chestnut and warm stones. Full-bodied, lush and very charming on the palate, this is an elegant, juicy, textured and beautifully aromatic red with fine tannins, good freshness and a stimulating finish. Tasted in Illmitz, December 2018.
