60 Years Anniversary TBA
The apricot-coloured 2017 Welschriesling Trockenbeerenauslese 60th Anniversary, which was tasted as a sample from the 1,000-litre oak barrel, is a tribute to the early days when the grapes for sweet wines were crushed for one day and stored on the full lees in large oak for almost a year. With yeasty aromas on the intense and concentrated nose, reminiscent of stewed apricots, this is a rich, lush, elegant, very dense and persistent TBA with great finesse and very fine tannins. A marvellous, very long, fresh, complex yet delicate TBA with a beautiful salinity. 12% alcohol. A great new (old) style for Kracher. Tasted in Illmitz, December 2018 (WineAdvocate)

2004 TBA No. 2 Welschriesling
Medium golden yellow in colour. Delicate leafy notes of cooked rhubarb, peach and a fine yeast component on the nose, fine minerality, gains tropical fruit nuances with air. Fine honey on the palate, fresh structure, very well-integrated acidity, a hint of apricot, remains very persistent, well-balanced, very accessible, already at peace with itself.

2020 TBA No. 2 Traminer
Aged for 24+ months in new barriques, the 2020 Tro ckenbeerenauslese No. 2 Traminer Nouvelle Vague is very clear and concentrated on the detailed and saline nose with lemon zest, pepper, lychee and dra gon fruit aromas intermingled with notes of caramel and nougat. Lush and generous on the dense yet fresh and even stimulating palate, this is a very ele gant and remarkably refined yet intense Traminer with a concentrated but mouthwatering finish. There is great precision and finesse here. Try it with foie gras and brioche or drink it on its own. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in Lütjensee, Hamburg, in June 2023. To be released in mid-September 2023. 96/100 Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate Kräftiges Goldgelb, Silberreflexe. Zart rauchig-kernig, dezenter Blütenhonig, Nuancen von gelber Frucht, nach Mango, feine brotige Botrytiswürze, braucht Luft. Stoffig, elegant, feines Steinobst, gute Frische, Nuancen von weißer Frucht, zartes Nougat im Ab gang, balanciert, gut antrinkbar. 95/100 Peter Moser, Falstaff Weinguide 2023/24
