The 2021 Beerenauslese Rosenmuskateller Red Roses is analytically a downgraded Trockenbeerenauslese that opens with a clear and fragrant bouquet of kumquats, pink grapefruits, plums and flowers (rose petals). Rich and sweet on the palate, this is a dense and savory, almost oily-textured BA with fine tannins and lemony aromas on the finish. It's quite sweet, though (234 grams per liter of residual sugar). 9.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork.
