Kräftiges Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, breitere Randaufhellung. Zart floral unterlegte schwarze Beerenfrucht, Nuancen von kandierten Veilchen, etwas Nougat. Saftig, reife Kirschfrucht, zart nach Lakritze, frisch und anhaftend, verfügt über gute Länge, ein vielseitiger Speisenbegleiter.
The Zweigelt 2018 Blend 1 trocken displays a brighter cherry color than the 2019, although it was made in the same way (four weeks of maceration, four years in new barriques). Kracher says the berries in the 2019 were smaller due to the very dry year. On the palate, this is an elegant and smooth, silky-textured and very elegant red wine that doesn't have the textural class, concentration and tension of the 2019 but is still a very elegant and lively Zweigelt with noblesse and remarkable harmony.
